Anthony Boright, President

Anthony has more than 20 years of marketing and sales experience in the technology, financial services and consumer packaged goods industries. Prior to founding VAULT Solutions, he was V.P. Marketing and Sales for Communicopia, a leading developer of Internet solutions for the wealth-management industry and creator of two successful products: The Fund Library – “Canada's online mutual fund resource centre” and f/A Connect – “The Internet workplace for financial advisors”.

Previously, Anthony held marketing and sales roles on Morgan Stanley Canada and CIBC/Wood Gundy's fixed income trading desks. He has a strong appreciation for customer needs in the wealth-management industry in particular, and has marketed a wide range of fixed-income products to both institutional and retail investors and financial advisors. Anthony started his marketing career at Xerox Canada and later spent four years at Cadbury Beverages as a Marketing Manager on Schweppes, Crush, Canada Dry, Mott’s Clamato and Welch’s brands.

Anthony has an MBA in Finance from York University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario. A highly involved industry participant, he is a member of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada's (IFIC) Investor Education Task Force, Value of Advice Task Force, Public Relations Committee and speaks and writes for a number of industry organizations.

Kirk Bean, Senior Project Manager

Kirk has over 12 years experience managing projects ranging in size from $10K up to $2M. Prior to joining VAULT Solutions in 2009, he worked with Critical Mass and Fjord Interactive, (a division of Cossette Communications), where he was the lead project manager on annual accounts worth $1M. Most recently at Critical Mass, Kirk led the redesign of a pharmaceutical eComm site with revenues over $2.4M. At Fjord Interactive Kirk managed the redesign of the Saab and Saturn Canada websites.

Kirk started his professional career with the Bank of Montreal’s corporate real estate division and quickly moved into a position where he was responsible for the group’s MIS and reporting requirements. After seven years with BMO he moved to BLJC where he oversaw the implementation of a property management and payment system for the Ontario Realty Corporation.

Kirk earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Ryerson University, and has also completed a certificate in New Media Management from the University of Toronto. In 2005 Kirk obtained his PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). When he's not working hard at his day job, Kirk is active in the community and occasionally returns to Ryerson as a guest lecturer on the subject of project management.

Steve Chiarelli, Senior Developer

Steve heads up VAULT’s development team and has been with the firm since 2003. He came to VAULT from Communicopia, where he participated in the development and long-term maintenance of many successful products including The Fund Library - Canada's online mutual fund resource centre and f/A Connect – The Internet workplace for financial advisors. He has also held technical leadership roles on many projects for clients such as TD Bank Financial Group, CIBC, RBC Financial Group, OPSEU Pension Trust, and IFIC.

Steve has more than 10 years of IT experience ranging from networking and web application development to project leadership. He is a highly skilled programmer who knows how to coordinate the efforts of different business and technical groups on projects, and who excels at understanding business needs before delivering the best technical solution. Steve graduated with honours from the University of Toronto with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. Steve is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist.

Charles Chung, Developer

Charles joined VAULT in 2007. Since arriving, he has provided customer support and development of hosted and non-hosted applications for clients such as TD Bank, RBC Dexia, IFIC and OPSEU Pension Trust.

Charles is a skilled developer and has expertise developing web solutions using a wide range of web technologies. The youngest on our team, he has an appreciation of the value derived from social media and the strategic use of the newer technologies for today’s business requirements. Charles graduated with honours from York University with a degree in Computer Science.

Ali Valinasab, Developer

Ali joined VAULT in 2009 after emigrating from Iran where he worked at Karafarin Bank as an Application Programmer. Ali is proficient in C# .NET and SQL Server, and used both for designing and developing a web based loan system at Karafarin Bank. He also has a strong knowledge base in Oracle Forms and Oracle Database, having used them in maintaining and developing the core banking system. Ali has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering from Tehran Azad University.

VAULT employs only senior consultants with proven competence in all elements associated with Internet strategy, application development and the management of large-scale programs and projects. We have all worked within the financial services industry - either at financial institutions or at firms delivering Internet solutions to those same financial institutions.

All of our practitioners are strategic thinkers who can implement as well as envision. They are senior managers with 10+ years of experience in web development, business and marketing strategy, data analytics, usability, systems integration, information architecture, project management, and user-centered design.
